Where I would like to be in 10 years.
I like to think I am a realist (even with my sister swearing up and down that I'm a romantic) but realistically speaking, in ten years, I see myself still very happily married to the most amazing man ever, raising our two wonderful, bright and beautiful little girls (who will be 13 and 11 by that time, yikes!), owning our own home, with me working in, most likely, retail. Realistically speaking.
Romantically speaking, I would love all of the above with only one slight change. I want to be either a published writer, clothing designer, art teacher or an English teacher. See, I've already accomplished the two things I have always, ALWAYS wanted to do. Marry my soul mate and have beautiful children. After that my career ideas always changed. From professional ballerina, highly sought after stunt double, archaeologist, dentist, nurse, ultrasound technician, tight rope walker, Broadway star... you get the idea.
Which is why realistically, I will probably be working retail, and continuing to write/draw/sew/sing on the side. And I'm fine with that. Because realistically speaking, I will still have my husband, and my kids. And that's all I have really wanted.
